Synopsis
Freaks is young and scrappy New York City.
Arabella and Bowie are down on their luck and a bit bored, maybe even lost. By downloading “Peep” they are thrown into the wacky provocative world of escorting.
However, they quickly realize they have bit off more than they can chew. Balancing their wild clients and “normal” lives proves to be more difficult than they anticipated.
Will they roll with the tide and come out reborn or sink, completely losing the last bits of who they are?
The Characters
ARABELLA
MAIN CHARACTER
Known as Belly by her nearest and dearest. Arabella is a whip smart sphinx wrapped in girl next door packaging. As a recent university graduate, she has become a bit muddled & lost.
Bored and unsure of her place in the world, she decides with her best friend and confidant Bowie, to spice up their lives. Stumbling heels first into the enticing world of escorting.
As off-course as she feels her life is, she finds direction in escorting and the clients she helps along the way.
BOWIE
MAIN CHARACTER
Bowie is seemingly so himself and confident in everything he does. He is eccentric and electrifying. The spotlight of every room. But it’s a mask, armor. He sheds that facade when he’s with his best friend Arabella.
He is a writer who doesn’t write. He decides to give escorting a go to find inspiration in other people; to ignite a fire inside that has been dim for awhile.
Through this journey he finds his voice and starts writing again for him and no one else.
